President Donald Trump just slammed Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for his weak leadership in a statement.
President Trump called McConnell a “dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack” following McConnell’s recent attacks on him.
McConnell went hard after President Trump following Trump’s second acquittal, saying the president was partly responsible for the Capital riot on January 6.
President Trump says that if republican senators continue to support McConnell, “they will not win again.”
Trump expressed that the republican party needs stronger leaders than McConnell in order to have any future success.
