Human Events, The Post Millennial Join Forces In Conservative Media Merger

In a marriage of one of the nation’s oldest conservative publications to one of its newest, the venerable Human Events has snapped up The Post Millennial.

The Washington, D.C.-based Human Events, which was established in 1944 and which President Ronald Reagan often cited as his favorite magazine, bought the upstart Post Millennial in a bid to “disrupt the political media landscape,” the companies said in a joint news release.

“I am thrilled with the incredibly deep and diverse platform this combination creates,” said Human Events Publisher Jeff Webb. “Our talent lineup is second to none. This is a new media powerhouse that will constructively influence the political dialogue in this country while simultaneously challenging some of the largest, most-established publications.
