Poll: Most Americans support Senate filibuster, up 6% from June


A poll commissioned by Senate Opportunity Fund found that the support for the Senate filibuster has grown six percent since June.

The poll also found that only 27 percent of voters believed in abolishing it and that 20 percent had no opinion at all.

Democrats have been attempting to abolish the filibuster, claiming that it is a racist institutional tool that has been used for oppression since the beginning of the United States.
