‘No Shoot Zone’ Graffiti Activist Shot In Baltimore

A former gang-member-turned-community-activist known for spray-painting “No Shoot Zone” graffiti around the city of Baltimore was shot Wednesday in East Baltimore.

Tyree Moorehead told media that he was shot three times in the neck, jaw, and back on Wednesday morning. He then left the scene and reportedly went to a hospital for treatment. However, Moorehead allegedly left the hospital without being discharged later that day and was later seen standing outside his home in a hospital gown while police — for reasons unknown — were searching his house.

“You’d think I’d shot someone, right? All this activity,” Moorehead remarked to the press outside of his home as police came in and out of his residence. It is unclear who shot Moorehead or why.
