If Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) weren’t already considering an exit from the Democratic Party, the response from one of its leaders to his call for civility might be enough to push him over the edge.
Specifically, Fetterman called out those within his party suffering from “TDS,” a common abbreviation of “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” going on to back President Donald Trump’s renewed call for a secure White House ballroom in the wake of Saturday’s shooting.
Fox News reported on the Democratic National Committee vice chair’s reaction:
“Almost every day now my US Senator comes on this site to attack his constituents and many people who worked hard to elect him. Suggesting that they have ‘derangement syndrome’ for opposing this administration. You’re a mess @JohnFetterman,” Malcolm
