An unhinged Australian woman who managed to slug 3 liters of vodka has been slapped with a criminal conviction after she glued googly eyes on a massive sculpture during her drunken stupor.
Amelia Vanderhorst, who was also high on MDMA at the time, was convicted on Tuesday of defacing the $95,000 statue — nicknamed the “Blue Blob” — in Mount Gambier late last year.
Her lawyer, Michael Hill, blamed her poor judgment on the large amounts of vodka she guzzled and the drugs she’d taken earlier that night, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported .
