Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) has the worst approval rating of any Virginia governor, only two months in office. This comes as a slew of illegal immigrants have been charged with murder and other crimes, her party is proposing a number of tax hikes, and Spanberger has thrown her support behind a redistricting effort that would greatly swing the state blue.
The Democratic governor has only a 47% approval for her performance, according to a new Washington Post–Schar School poll. This is 13 points below the previous Virginia governor, Republican Glenn Youngkin.
