Heaping on to his rhetoric against several GOP lawmakers, President Donald Trump bashed Congressman Thomas Massie, asking Kentucky voters to oust him in the upcoming election.
Highlighting the U.S. representative’s voting record, Trump called for Massie (R-Ky.) to be voted out ahead of Tuesday’s primary election in the Bluegrass State.
“Bad Congressman Tom Massie voted against Tax Cuts, the Border Wall, our Military and Law Enforcement. Actually, he voted against almost everything that is good,” Trump said.
“The Worst Republican Congressman in History. Kentucky, vote the bum out on Tuesday. We can’t live with this troublemaker for another two years. He is a true negative force,” the president continued.

In an earlier post, Trump further ripped into Massie, as well as Senator Bill Cassidy (R-La.). Following heated criticism from Trump, Cassidy lost his primary election on Saturday. However, Trump labeled Massie as “even worse” than Cassidy, calling him a “major Sleazebag.”
“Kentucky, get this LOSER out of politics in Tuesday’s Election. He is nicknamed Rand Paul Jr., another real ‘beauty,’ because of his absolutely terrible voting habits,” the commander-in-chief said.
He reemphasized his endorsement for Ed Gallrein, who is running against Massie in the primary for Kentucky’s 4th congressional district.
“Vote for Ed Gallrein, a successful Kentucky farmer, and American War Hero, who only ran because he thought that Massie was so disloyal and disrespectful to your President, ME!” the president said.

Massie and Cassidy were not the only Republican lawmakers to receive the president’s ire. On Saturday, the president voiced an open call for a competitor to run against “weak minded” U.S. Representative Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), who previously had received Trump’s endorsement.
“Is anyone interested in running against Weak Minded Lauren Boebert in Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District?” Trump asked.
“Boebert is campaigning for the Worst ‘Republican’ Congressman in the History of our Country, Thomas Massie, of the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky, and anybody who can be that dumb deserves a good Primary fight!” he continued.
“Even though I long ago endorsed Boebert, if the right person came along, it would be my Honor to withdraw that Endorsement, and endorse a good and proper alternative. Just let me know, or announce your Candidacy, and I will be there for you!” he concluded.

Boebert, who appears to be running unopposed in Colorado’s June 30th primary, reportedly traveled to Kentucky to campaign for Massie ahead of the Tuesday election. Despite the president’s criticism, Boebert took to X to defend her actions.
“Yes, I saw the President’s post. No, I’m not mad or offended. I knew the risks when I agreed to stand by my friend Thomas Massie. I was, and will be, America First, America Always, and MAGA,” she said.
