Vanessa Trump, 48, also shared that she had undergone an unspecified procedure earlier in the week. Despite the diagnosis, she remained hopeful.
“I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me,” she said. “Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express.”
She also asked for privacy as she focuses on her health and recovery.
Ivanka Trump, the president’s oldest child and Vanessa Trump’s ex-sister-in-law, commented on the post, offering her support.
“Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama,” she said.
Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump have five children together, including their eldest, Kai Trump, who notably spoke at the 2024 Republican National Convention to share stories about her grandfather and then-presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Vanessa Trump also garnered attention for her relationship with golf superstar Tiger Woods, which was announced in early 2025.
