Vice President JD Vance touted the Trump administration’s efforts to revive American manufacturing and cut taxes during a visit to Missouri.

On Monday, while speaking at Millbank Manufacturing Company in Kansas City, Missouri, Vance highlighted what he described as major progress in restoring domestic production through the administration’s trade and economic policies.

“If you want to make America great, if you want to protect your jobs and hopefully build jobs in this beautiful factory, if you want to make our streets even safer, if you want to rebuild the American dream for the next generation, vote against the crazy leadership in Washington, D.C.,” Vance said.

The vice president argued that the economy was booming, new jobs were being created, and American workers were benefiting after years of economic decline.

According to Vance, the administration’s focus on prioritizing American businesses and workers has fueled the turnaround.

“We are bringing the United States of America back — and it’s starting right here in the great state of Missouri,” Vance stated. “We decided to put American businesses and, most importantly, American workers first.”

The vice president also slammed Democrats for opposing President Donald Trump’s historic tax cuts, saying it should have been simple to get Democrats to vote for more money in Americans’ pockets.

“That legislation provides the biggest tax cut for working-class Missourians that we have ever seen,” Vance explained. “It should have been simple to get Democrats to vote for more money in your pockets.”
