Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is handing in her resignation next month after her husband was diagnosed with bone cancer.
Gabbard told President Donald Trump the news during a meeting on Friday and submitted her formal resignation letter. Her last day in the Trump administration is expected to be June 30.
