Trump Takes Control: Walz Reaches Out and Agrees to Cooperate After Homan Deployed to Minneapolis


President Trump has moved decisively, dispatching former ICE Acting Director Tom Homan to Minnesota to take direct command of immigration enforcement amid escalating unrest following two fatal shootings involving federal agents. Homan will report directly to the president, replacing Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino on the ground, and housing agents at Fort Snelling as operations intensify.  Trump called Homan “tough but fair,” saying he was sending him in to restore order, while Republicans quickly rallied behind the move.
