A federal appeals court has allowed key portions of President Trump’s election integrity executive order to move forward.
The ruling permits the U.S. Postal Service to require states seeking to mail ballots in the midterm elections to submit voter rolls for citizenship verification and comply with enhanced ballot-tracking requirements.
The legal battle is far from over. Opponents are still challenging the order, and additional court rulings could affect its ultimate enforcement.
