President Donald Trump gave a full-throated endorsement to Rep. Julia Letlow (R-LA), who is reportedly weighing a bid for Sen. Bill Cassidy‘s (R-LA) seat in the upper chamber.
Trump praised Letlow in a Truth Social post on Saturday night, calling her a “Great Star” and a “TOTAL WINNER” and encouraging the second-term congresswoman to enter the Senate race.
“I am hearing that Julia is considering launching her Campaign for the United States Senate in Louisiana, a place I love and WON BIG, six times, including Primaries, in 2016, 2020, and 2024,” the president said. “I know Julia well, have seen her tested at the highest and most difficult levels, and she is a TOTAL WINNER!
