Most notably, Trump-favorite Republican Rep. Andy Biggs won the GOP primary spot in Arizona’s gubernatorial election.

A White House ally and Arizona lawmaker, Biggs is now set to compete against incumbent Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs for the high office of governor in the battleground state.
The Trump-backed candidate win comes after a couple of MAGA-backed candidate losses in other Arizona elections in recent years, including Blake Masters losing his bid for Senate in 2022 and Kari Lake losing the GOP gubernatorial primary in 2020.
