As previously reported the United Kingdom’s Home Secretary has just approved the United States’ request to extradite Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.
Assange is currently facing “17 counts of violating espionage law and one count of violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act” which carries a sentence of over 175 years in the United States.
Former CIA director Mike Pompeo however was ecstatic about the thought of Assange coming back to the US to go to Federal prison.
He took to Twitter and stated “good on the UK Home Secretary for approving the extradition of indicted hacker Julian Assange, whose goal was always to imperil American security through his non-state hostile “intelligence” service. One step closer to protecting the young men and women who protect America”.
