Thousands of Italians took to the streets of Rome today demanding remigration, calling for stricter immigration policies and the return of migrants to their countries of origin.
The rally, organized by groups like CasaPound Italia and Veneto Fronte Skinheads, started at 3 p.m. in Piazza della Libertà and pushed a popular bill with over 150,000 signatures calling for deporting irregular migrants and those seen as unintegrated. Lazio ultras led with flags and flares, while heavy police kept order amid nearby rival protests. Tens of thousands countered from unions and anti-fascist groups, dwarfing the event with anti-racism messages, highlighting Italy’s deep immigration tensions despite a 60% drop in arrivals under Prime Minister Meloni.
Make no mistake, it is a march against islamization.
