Strive Buys 1,110 Bitcoin for $81.5 Million as Treasury Tops 21,000 BTC

Strive just made one of the clearest corporate Bitcoin buys of the current rally.

The Nasdaq-listed asset manager purchased 1,110 Bitcoin for approximately $81.5 million between August 17 and August 21. The company paid an average of $73,409 per coin, including fees and expenses, and lifted its treasury from 20,246 BTC to 21,356 BTC.

That is a 5.5% increase in Strive’s Bitcoin position in one week.

It also pushed the company’s holdings above one-tenth of one percent of Bitcoin’s fixed 21 million supply. Put another way, Strive now owns slightly more than one of every 1,000 Bitcoin that can ever exist.

The numbers come directly from Strive’s new filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
