Shooting in Carrollton, Texas leaves two dead and more injured

A Tuesday shooting at a shopping center in Carrollton, Texas, left two dead and three others injured after a business meeting went awry.

According to local police, 69-year-old Seung Han Ho was meeting with the victims for a business transaction at the Koreatown shopping center when he opened fire.

The shooting reportedly happened just before 10 a.m., and officers arrived on the scene around 11 a.m. to find five victims, two of whom died and three others who are hospitalized in stable condition. A large police presence remains in the area.

The victims have not been identified, but all were said to be adults.

Carrollton Police Chief Roberto Arredondo said undercover police officers located Seung’s vehicle with the suspect inside, but when officers approached, Seung took off on foot.

Following a foot pursuit, officers eventually caught Seung a few miles away and made the arrest.
