The mayor of Saint-Denis, Bally Bagayoko, announced a decree to ban the sale of alcohol in the city, with sanctions and penalties for vendors caught continuing their now-illegal business.
Bagayoko has officially banned alcohol sales in the Muslim-majority Paris suburb.
