Washington Examiner senior columnist Salena Zito lamented that people are “unwilling” to be like Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), who has a “buffet” of opinions.
Zito appeared on the Hugh Hewitt Show on Wednesday to discuss her recent interview with Fetterman. Host Hugh Hewitt asked her what the term “Fetterman Republican” means.
“It means that you are being reasonable and being able to unpack what you see happening on both sides,” Zito said. “[Fetterman] has an ability to step back and say, ‘Okay, this is why this is happening. This is why this is happening. And I agree with this and agree with a part of that.’”
