Robinhood has spent $25 million of its own money on Bitcoin, putting BTC directly on the brokerage’s corporate balance sheet for the first time.

The dollar amount is modest for a company of Robinhood’s size. The message is not.

A platform that built a major business helping customers trade crypto is now willing to hold the market’s largest asset alongside its own corporate reserves.
