Ripple’s European Stablecoin Push Just Got a Powerful One-Two Punch

Ripple has spent years arguing that crypto’s biggest opportunity is not another speculative burst. It is the slow, difficult work of moving money through regulated financial rails.

Two recent moves now put that strategy into unusually sharp focus.

The company has launched Ripple Mint, a unified platform that gives institutions direct access to its RLUSD stablecoin. At nearly the same time, Ripple completed the regulatory work needed to offer crypto-asset services across the European Economic Area under the European Union’s MiCA framework.

Either development would be notable on its own. Together, they give Ripple something much more valuable: a regulated distribution footprint and a product designed to make institutional stablecoin operations easier to automate.
