Rapper Macklemore Talks About Being Sober Following Pandemic Relapse


Macklemore shared with fans his path to sobriety once again after suffering a relapse during the COVID pandemic in his ongoing recovery from alcohol and drug abuse.

The 39-year-old rapper, born Benjamin Hammond Haggerty, posted a message on TikTok recently sharing with fans that he’s been sober for almost two years after relapsing during the summer of 2020.

“I relapsed during the first summer of COVID,” the “Thrift Shop” rapper wrote in his post. “Today I have 694 days clean.”
