A private remote island with just one off-grid cabin and an array of wildlife is being sold at auction for $468,844.
Mullagrach Island is the northernmost of the Scottish Summer Isles, located at the mouth of Loch Broom, and spans approximately 88.7 acres.

It lies in the Wester Ross Marine Protected Area and forms part of Scotland’s first UNESCO Geopark.
At the heart of the island sits an off-grid cabin, which draws its power from solar panels and is set up to allow rainwater harvesting and composting.
From the sea view windows, the island’s rugged landscape of heather, rocky beaches, caves, and cliffs is visible.
