President Trump, just let the United Nations die

President Donald Trump is threatening to save the United Nations with an infusion of billions of American taxpayer dollars. The true “America First” solution would be to let the institution die.

The U.N. is facing “imminent financial collapse,” according to Secretary-General Antonio Guterrez, over unpaid “mandatory” dues from member countries. The United States is one of the countries that has not paid its dues, owing just under $2.2 billion in yearly dues and another $1.8 billion for peacekeeping funds.
