Powerful Tornadoes Rip Through Oklahoma, Multiple Fatalities [FOOTAGE]


Horrific twisters pummeled the state of Oklahoma over the weekend and caused catastrophic damage.

“Tornadoes killed four people in Oklahoma, including an infant, and left thousands without power Sunday after a destructive outbreak of severe weather flattened buildings in the heart of one rural town and injured at least 100 people across the state,” the Associated Press reports.

The town of Sulphur, home to approximately 5,000 people, saw extensive damage to businesses and homes.

“Most businesses in downtown Sulphur were completely destroyed by an EF-3 tornado on Saturday night during a severe weather outbreak. FOX Weather Correspondent Brandy Campbell said the situation is dangerous because buildings continue to collapse two days after the tornado,” FOX Weather writes.
