Pelosi’s speeches across Europe interrupted by pro-Palestinian protesters

Rep. Nancy Pelosi‘s (D-CA) visit to Europe has been plagued with protesters interrupting her various speaking events.

Pelosi first appeared Monday at University College Dublin, where she received an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws. While Pelosi took the podium in her cap and gown, the UCD Students’ Union president, Martha Ni Riada, stood up and began yelling.

“Pelosi is a Zionist and a war criminal,” she said before security guards immediately seized her and led her out of the room. “You said that support for Israel is in our DNA. It is not. What about Palestinian women?”

I was thrown out with excessive force from Nancy Pelosi’s honorary doctorate of law @ucddublin earlier today for representing the views of students as @UCDSU President.
