The 2026 Super Bowl teams will wear patches celebrating the United States’s 250th birthday on their jerseys during the game.
On Feb. 8, the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks will wear uniforms with “USA 250” logos on the right chest.
Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold and Patriots quarterback Drake Maye were featured on their teams’ social media accounts, posing in uniform alongside other players.
The 2026 Super Bowl in Santa Clara, California, will be the Seahawks’s first Super Bowl appearance since 2015, when they lost to the Patriots. The game effectively ended with an infamous play call by then-Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, who opted to have then-quarterback Russell Wilson throw the ball at the one-yard line instead of handing it off to running back Marshawn Lynch.
