New Jersey deputy AG charged with heinous child sex crimes allegedly involving ‘prepubescent female’

A man entrusted with prosecuting bad guys in New Jersey is accused of being a bad guy himself.

Brian Richard Fitzgerald, a 51-year-old deputy attorney general in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, has been arrested and charged with three felonies in connection with alleged child sexual abuse material.

At least one ‘image mentioned in the probable cause was a prepubescent female. That image was actual CSAM, not AI-generated.’

According to a press release from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, a search warrant was executed at Fitzgerald’s home in Lower Makefield Township, Pennsylvania, on Thursday after the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children received a tip about a user on the messaging app Discord who had allegedly sent an “illicit image” on July 10.
