Ms. Rachel apologizes for liking call to ‘Free America from the Jews’


Children’s YouTuber Ms. Rachel issued an apology on Wednesday for liking an antisemitic comment on her Instagram account.

Ms. Rachel, whose real name is Rachel Griffin Accurso, produces video content made to educate and entertain children, and has over 18 million YouTube subscribers and almost 5 million followers on Instagram.

Accurso shared a message on Instagram that read, “Free Palestine, Free Sudan, Free Congo, Free Iran,” with all of the country’s flags, to which one user replied, “Free America from the Jews,” according to the New York Post.

The comment received four likes, including one from Accurso. She said in a video uploaded on Wednesday that she thought she deleted a comment to one of her videos, but instead “accidentally hit like and hide.”
