Metaplanet moved 10,270 Bitcoin to Coinbase Prime over the past week, a transfer wave worth roughly $806 million at the prices reported when the transactions were identified.
The movement is large enough to matter. It is also easy to overstate.

Public blockchain data shows where the Bitcoin went. It does not show whether Metaplanet sold the coins, plans to sell them, or placed them with Coinbase for custody and other institutional services.
Cointelegraph reported that the Japanese Bitcoin treasury company sent 4,800 BTC worth nearly $377 million to Coinbase Prime on Monday. That followed transfers of 2,000 BTC two days earlier, 3,331 BTC three days earlier and 139 BTC six days earlier.
