Secretary of State Marco Rubio took aim at the International Criminal Court, an institution that the United States has never recognized. In an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal he outlined the reasons the United States seeks to dismantle the ICC.
This “court of last resort” must be dismantled. It was deliberately and systematically hijacked and weaponized to destroy the foundations of the democracies they were created and entrusted to uphold and protect.
