This ruling marks the culmination of years in which female athletes were forced to compete against biological males on the track, in the pool, on the field, in training facilities, and in locker rooms.
The Court has taken a decisive step toward restoring fairness by reaffirming that sex-based categories exist to protect women and girls. Female athletes deserve competition on a level playing field and private spaces reserved for women—not policies that erase those distinctions.
