Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin agreed to release the group’s 2024 campaign autopsy after a concerted pressure campaign from members of the party.
Martin had previously decided against releasing the results of the report, which sought to identify why the Democratic Party suffered such blistering losses in the 2024 elections. After heavy backlash, he announced on Thursday that he was reversing course.
He warned that the autopsy did not meet his standards and that he did not feel it was prepared to be released but that he was doing so anyway for the sake of transparency.
