Podcast host and former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly slammed what she called Kamala Harris’s “new accent,” saying the former vice president is using “street accents” to appeal to black voters.
“She’s got to go full black accent, blaccent,” Kelly said on the Megyn Kelly Show Tuesday.
Kelly’s comments came after Harris attended the Power Rising summit in Chicago, Illinois, on Sunday. According to the summit’s website: “Power Rising provides a space for Black women to turn power into action and create an actionable agenda to be implemented in their communities.”
Harris said to attendees while seemingly debuting the new accent: “We’re gon’ win the midterms. It’s gon’ be difficult.”

Harris said that, for some people, a flaw in human nature is being transactional and focused on personal gain. She suggested Democrats could also use the strategy.
