Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin had a very bad night at Cape Canaveral.
The company’s New Glenn rocket exploded during a hotfire test at Launch Complex 36 on Thursday night, May 28, 2026.

Blue Origin posted on X that it experienced an anomaly during the test. The company said all personnel were accounted for and that it would provide updates as it learned more.
