For far too long much of the international community refused to unequivocally recognize the Armenian Genocide not forlack of historical evidence. It was about geopolitical expediency.

The Armenian Genocide wasn’t denied because the evidence was in doubt—it was denied because Turkey held leverage. For generations, governments buried historical truth beneath strategic alliances, military interests, and diplomatic convenience, refusing to utter the word “genocide” lest they offend Ankara. The message was unmistakable: geopolitical expediency mattered more than justice for a million murdered Armenians. History became hostage to politics.
And Turkey exploited this weakness and aligned with jihad forces.
The Turks have gotten away with this monstrous genocide for well over 100 years now.
