Is There Already An Approved H5N1 (Avian Influenza) Vaccine?


With the media fearmongering over avian influenza A (H5N1), it’s worth asking if public health officials and pharmaceutical companies already have an ‘approved’ vaccine. 

We’ve seen reports of livestock infected with bird flu and a human case earlier this month.

“The Texas Department of State Health Services is reporting a human case of avian influenza A(H5N1) virus in Texas. The case was identified in a person who had direct exposure to dairy cattle presumed to be infected with avian influenza,” the Texas Department of State Health Services previously stated.
