Are we looking at a cleverly designed piece of theatre here?
I recently asked the question in one of my other pieces exploring whether or not the Iran-Israel conflict was staged.
Both countries have done a lot of saber-rattling and carried out what appeared to be show strikes against each other. Iran launched approximately 300 missiles and drones at Israel—over 99% were reportedly deflected.

Israel’s response was also lackluster with no Iranian nuclear sites suffering damage and minimal damages reported overall.
Following the Israeli response to the Iranian attack, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran would leave things alone as long as Israel did not attack again.
The next step is that there is no next step, unless, of course, Israel decides to escalate against
