House Oversight Committee hearing to showcase China’s ‘political warfare’ against US


The House Oversight Committee plans to detail the Chinese Communist Party‘s ability to “infiltrate” and influence the United States through “political warfare” at a hearing on Wednesday.

In remarks provided ahead of the hearing to the Washington Examiner, Chairman James Comer (R-KY) will discuss China’s work to “weaken America” by targeting U.S. infrastructure, food supply, religious communities, and social media. The hearing, “Defending America from the Chinese Communist Party’s Political Warfare, Part I,” will begin the Oversight Committee’s government-wide investigation into the CCP’s warfare at 10 a.m.
