Harris cites Renee Good killing in MLK Day speech: ‘Sick and tired’


Former Vice President Kamala Harris spoke out against the killing of Renee Good by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer in Minneapolis during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event in Chicago.

Harris, who pundits believe is mulling another bid for the presidency in 2028, repeatedly told the crowd that Americans are “sick and tired” while she spoke against the policies of the Trump administration. While in the Midwest, Harris spoke about Good’s death at the hands of an ICE officer, who she struck with her SUV while refusing to comply with orders, a killing that sparked further anti-ICE protests in Minnesota and across the United States
