Florida teacher’s ‘heinous sex acts’ left teen with ‘permanent psychological injuries,’ loss of faith in God: Lawsuit


A former Florida teacher — convicted of sexual misconduct with a high school student — now faces a lawsuit claiming her “heinous sex acts” left the teen with “permanent psychological injuries,” including a loss of faith in God.

Brooke Anderson, a 28-year-old former teacher, previously pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, two counts of transmission of harmful materials to a minor, one count of lewd or lascivious conduct with a student, and one count of unlawful use of a two-way communication device, according to WTSP-TV.

‘The messages began as general conversation, but eventually were of a very graphic, sexual nature,’ the complaint says.

Anderson was sentenced to 30 months in state prison, followed by 24 months of community service and 10 years
