An entourage of more than a dozen business executives is set to join President Donald Trump on his trip to China this week, including Tesla, xAI and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, according to a White House official.
President Trump is scheduled to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday and Friday, likely hoping to secure some business agreements in Beijing.

In addition to Musk, Trump’s guest list reportedly includes:
- Apple CEO Tim Cook
- BlackRock CEO Larry Fink
- Blackstone CEO Stephen Schwarzman
- Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg
- Cargill CEO Brian Sikes
- Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser
- Coherent CEO Jim Anderson
- General Electric CEO Larry Culp
- Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon
- Illumina CEO Jacob Thaysen
- Mastercard CEO Michael Miebach
- Meta president Dina Powell McCormick
- Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra
- Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon
- Visa CEO Ryan McInerney
A spokesperson for Cisco said the White House invited CEO Chuck Robbins but was unable to attend due to the company’s earnings schedule.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang did not appear on the list, likely because the White House plans to focus on agriculture and aviation, according to Reuters.
“We should let the president announce whatever he decides to announce … If invited, it would be a privilege, it would be a great honor to represent the United States,” Huang stated to CNBC.
General Motors, Disney and Alphabet are also companies with interests in China that the White House did not include on its guest list.
The president also brought a contingent of business leaders on his trip to Saudi Arabia last May, including some of those on the China excursion.
The Beijing visit was scheduled for April at first, but was postponed during the United States’ military operations in the Middle East.
