Drew Carey blasts Spencer Pratt as ‘serial scammer’ ahead of L.A. mayor primary

“The Price Is Right” host Drew Carey unloaded on reality TV star-turned-Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt on Threads this week, calling him unfit for office and labeling him a con artist without a conscience days before the city’s June 2 primary.

“Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Prattfall for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their ass,” Mr. Carey wrote in the Friday post. 

The comedian did not stop there. “I understand being angry/unsatisfied, but at least get behind someone competent and not some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass,” Mr. Carey continued, closing with a blunt profane dismissal of Mr. Pratt.

Mr. Pratt announced his candidacy in January 2026, a year after the Palisades wildfire destroyed his family’s home. He has since become an outspoken critic of incumbent Mayor Karen Bass, who has faced widespread criticism over her handling
