A phrase has been going around recently online referring to President Trump’s global policies as the “DONroe Doctrine” — a play on words comparing Trump’s worldview to that of James Monroe.
It turns out they’re REMARKABLY similar!
And spoiler alert: the actions taken by James Monroe were SO successful that he later completely abolished Federal Income tax during his Presidency!
