Don Lemon arrested by federal officials over Minnesota church ‘ICE Out’ protest


Federal officials have arrested former CNN host Don Lemon for his presence at an anti-ICE protest in a Minnesota Church during a Sunday service.

The Thursday evening arrest, first reported by the New York Times, comes after Lemon said he was there in his capacity as a journalist to report on the protest. He’s charged with violating federal law during the event.

On Jan. 18, protestors stormed Cities Church in St. Paul Minnesota, asserting the pastor was connected to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Protesters began shouting “ICE OUT!”
