An Illinois woman has filed a class action lawsuit against American retail giant Target.
The lawsuit alleges that Target was collecting sensitive biometric data from customers and storing it without their consent.
Target has yet to respond and provide comments following the introduction of the lawsuit.
This is yet another public relations blow to the already embattled big box retailer. The corporate retailer faced growing calls to boycott it last year for going woke.
