A popular Christian influencer couple was arrested for allegedly abusing a 14-year-old girl, according to Texas police.
39-year-old Seth Michael Day is accused of sexually and physically assaulting the girl after a high school teacher noticed injuries to her face and head.
The girl said she had suffered numerous instances of abuse and reported some of them but that Heather Day had lied to officials in order to cover it up.
The teacher reported the injuries to the Keene police, who interviewed the girl. She claimed to have suffered ongoing abuse by Day and said he injured her with a cell phone.
After receiving treatment at the Cook Children’s Medical Center, she also said that Day had sexually assaulted her.
