Chris Van Hollen and his decorative margarita glass have a ‘I did not inhale’ moment

For a political party full of politicians who stressed the importance of being honest with the people, Democrats sure enjoy lying to people. Legislators in the left-wing political party continue to exempt themselves from the standards to which they hold Republicans. The one senator who arguably does this the most is El Salvador enthusiast Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) of “Maryland dad” fame. On Tuesday, Van Hollen’s duplicitous ways once again reared their ugly head in a spat with FBI Director Kash Patel.

After a heated exchange in the Senate on Tuesday in which Van Hollen essentially accused Patel of being a drunk, the two continued their beef on social media, regarding Patel’s alleged drinking and the consumption of alcoholic beverages in general. After the X account “Rapid Response 47” jumped into the fray, posting a picture of Van Hollen sitting at a table in El Salvador with Kilmar Abrego Garcia
